British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards

As a British Gymnastics affiliated club we follow the official BG proficiency awards scheme. At each level gymnasts pass they will obtain a certificate and badge which can be sewn onto the uniform, at the end levels they will also receive a medal. Gymnasts will be assessed at regular intervals and will be eligible for the relevant badges when skills have been reached.

At Leapz and Boundz the focus is always on individual progress and enjoying sport, however badges are a good way in giving your child;-

  • An indication of progress made.
  • Motivation to achieve targets.
  • A sense of pride and confidence.
  • An incentive to pursue gymnastics.
