Floor & Vault Competition
Here you can find the floor routines for our competition in October, please practice them as much as possible over the summer holidays. Obviously no routine is 100% perfect but try to make yours look exactly how it is in the video. Everything should be as neat as possible, some key things for you to remember:
- Present at the Start AND Finish of your routine. (You must face your judge)
- Think about your start AND finish position for each move, think, are you in the right position before going into your next move.
- Think about how the move should be performed to be neat and tidy, eg, knees and feet together, legs straight, toes pointed, arms staying by the ears.
- Each shape should be held for 3 seconds (eg V-sit, Tuck Seat, Straddle Stand, Landing shape) Don’t rush your routine!
