Trial Classes
Trials:
Trial classes must be pre-arranged with a member of our admin team, this can either be by phone, e-mail, or through social media. All children must attend at least one compulsory trial session, these are essential to make sure your child enjoyed the class and would like to continue. After the trial is also an opportunity for the coach to discuss with you (the parent/carer) whether this class is suitable for your child or if they would benefit from moving to a different class, this sometimes becomes apparent to the coach once the session has finished.
You are allowed 2 trial sessions before deciding whether to commit to join the club. Trials are charged at the same price as a normal session (£8 or £12 for 1.5 hours). Trials can be paid in cash before the session or transferred online. Children can have up to 2 trial sessions, covered by the insurance of Leaps & Bounds Gymnastics. After your 2 trial sessions, parents must then join both Leaps & Bounds and British Gymnastics to be insured for training.
*Important* If you bring your child to a trial session and then have no further contact with us, we will assume you are not returning the following week and your space could be gone. Out of courtesy please keep us informed of your decisions after a trial.
Waiting List:
We currently have a waiting list for some of our classes. If this is the case for the class you wish to attend you will be added to the list after your enquiry and informed as soon a place becomes available. Please be aware it is very difficult to give an estimate of how long you will have to wait for a space to become available.
After A Trial:
After your trials if you would like to continue, your child must now become a member of Leaps & Bounds Gymnastics and also British Gymnastics (Our governing body). The rest of the terms fees will now also be due. Below is a more in depth breakdown of this.
Membership:
This is annual membership and runs from October to October. Membership covers Leaps and Bounds Gymnastics membership, British Gymnastics membership and covers insurance for training. Your child may then work towards achieving proficiency awards/ floor badges. Membership and insurance are compulsory and non-refundable and must be renewed every year before the 30th of September. (British Gymnastics will send you a renewal email when its due)
Annual Membership prices are as follows:
Pre-School Gymnasts (Under 5’s):
British Gymnastics Membership- £15
Leaps & Bounds Membership – £11
Total: £26
General Gymnasts (5+):
British Gymnastics Membership- £22
Leaps & Bounds Membership – £11
Total: £33
If you are joining on or after the 1st of June you will be charged a reduced fee of £21 for General and £15 for Pre-school.
Registering on British Gymnastics
After you have paid the fees and membership, it is the parent’s responsibility to visit the British gymnastics website and register your child online, you can click HERE to be redirected to the British Gymnastics website. If you do not register your child AND pay for membership, they will not have insurance for training and will not be allowed to participate. Please make sure you have done this before their first session.
Fees:
Fees are payable in advance per term, any missed sessions are non-refundable. Children joining partway through a term will pay for the remaining sessions left. Parents have the option to either pay in cash at the gym or by bank transfer. If you have more than one child with us, you will also have the option of paying for one child at the start of term and one child at half term.
Club spaces are limited, please pay fee’s promptly and by deadline dates. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in your child’s place being reallocated and a late fee of £10 being charged. Parents will be kept up to date via text and information is always available on the website.

Payment/ Refund Policy
All fees for gymnastics lessons must be paid upfront in full, this is so that the space for your child is held all term. We do not offer the option to pay as you go per session. Any missed sessions will not be refunded unless the session was cancelled by us/ the venue which sometimes happens on occasion. Or the missed session/s can be discounted off next terms fees. In the case of injury/unforeseen circumstance please talk to the head coach to discus options. If fees for next term are not paid before the due date your place may be gone next term and any fees payed after the due date will incur a late fee of £10.
